Intelligence and National Security Analyst specializing in states with limited diplomatic recognition (Abkhazia, Transnistria, Nagorno-Karabakh and Chechnya) and the People's Republic of China Smart Power in Central and Eastern Europe. Michael obtained is Doctorate (Ph.D.) in History of Europe and International Relations at Sorbonne University in partnership wth the INSEAD - European Institute of Business Administration in December 2016. Prior to that, he attended the Master of Research (M. Res) programme at the Sorbonne in France and graduated with a thesis on Russia's attitude to Estonian accession to the NATO and the EU. He is the author and coauthor of foreign and military intelligence reports using the CIA, NATO, and OSCE archives.
