- Jorge Mojarro lives in the Philippines since 2009 where he works in Instituto Cervantes. He has a Master degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Unversidad de Sevilla (2003) and a PhD from Universidad de Salamanca with a thesis on Philippine Colonial Literature during XVIth century. His areas of research are Latinamerican Literature, Colonial Literature, Filipino Literature in Spanish and Missionary Linguistics. He is specially interested in old Filipino books. He published an annotated edition of Teodoro M. Kalaw's travels (2014) and very recently an annotated edition of the travel reports by father Campa: Entre las Tribus del Luzon Central (2016).
